Freshmen Jacob Scearce and Sam Miller each scored their first career collegiate goals in the second half Wednesday night to lead a comeback win over Valparaiso at the UK Soccer Complex.
The Cats went down 1-0 in the 13th minute on the rainy pitch, but regained control with 57th and 65th minutes goals from Scearce and Miller.
UK (4-6-1) had won just one of their last seven matches coming into Wednesday.
They return to action Saturday night when the travel to face the Charlotte 49ers at 7 p.m.
