The University of Kentucky’s College of Communications is hosting its annual Joe Creason Lecture this evening in Worsham Theater located in the Student Center.
For the 37th Lecture, Mervin R. Aubespin will speak on his experiences as a journalist. Aubespin is a former reporter for the Louisville Courier-Journal and the former national president of the National Association of Black Journalists. He is also a member of the Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame.
Highlights of Aubespin’s journalistic career include meeting Muhammad Ali and Nelson Mandela.
The lecture will start at 6.
