Forum on the Great East Japan Earthquake is taking place this afternoon from 4:10-6:10 p.m. in the William T. Young Library Auditorium. Dr. Masamichi Inoue will lead a panel of UK Faculty with firsthand accounts of the aftermath in Japan.
Society of Telecommunications Scholars are meeting today in the Maggie Room at Enoch Grehan Journalism Building from 5-6 p.m.
Rap Battle: Why We Love Hip Hop is happening from 7-9 p.m. tonight in the Cat’s Den. The battle will highlight UK student talent and prove them with top prizes for the winners.
Gender, Sex & Love lecture will be going on from 7-8 p.m. in Memorial Hall. The lecture will explore what science and society have to say about transgenderism through both a professional and personal lens.
Wandering Storytellers & Open Mike night, 8-11 p.m. at Natasha’s Bistro. Two featured storytellers will speak and audience members are welcome to share their own stories.
