UK men’s soccer player Dylan Asher has been named Conference USA’s Player of the Week.
Asher hit a hat-trick in the Cats’ 5-1 win over Florida International University on Sunday at the UK Soccer Complex.
Since being moved from defense to forward by UK head coach Johan Cedergren, Asher has scored four times in two starts.
An injury to striker Tyler Riggs signalled Cedergren’s decision to switch Asher to forward for the Cats’ 1-0 victory at Marshall last Wednesday Oct. 17th.
