This is a multimedia publication site of the School of Journalism and Media at the University of Kentucky.

Multimedia/broadcast projects/reels from students enrolled in courses that teach journalism (accurate, factual, ethical, reported, analytical, fact-bearing opinion) can be published on this student spotlight site

Additionally, multimedia/broadcast projects from students enrolled in Media Arts and Studies courses that teach non-journalistic production of : narrative fiction film; shorts; documentaries; scripted television (narrative and talk) shows; and social media reels for entertainment are both published on this site.

Journalistic material published on this site is vetted by professors and university lecturers who have worked or do work as journalistic editors, reporters and photographers at U.S. news organizations.

The site editors are members and leaders of professional journalism organizations including: the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), Broadcast Educators Association (BEA), Association of Black Journalists (ABJ), Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), National Press Photographers Association (NPPA). The principles of best practices and ethics outlined by those professional to all multimedia journalismtic work that’s reviewed for publication here.
