Lexington Humane Society’s 16th annual Mutt Strut pre-registration window is now open.
Mutt Strut benefits the nearly 5,000 animals the non-profit sees every year, according to the Mutt Strut website.
The “strut” is a 2k walk with your pooch at Keeneland on May 11, 2013. Games, activities and vendors will also be on site for the event.
By registering early, you’ll receive a limited edition Mutt Strut t-shirt. The offer is only valid until April 25.
LHS’s goal this year is to raise $40,000.
Registration is $20 for team members and adults (13 and up), $15 for children (12 and under), $25 for lazy mutts (attending from home) and $30 for event day.
