On September 20 and 21, the University of Kentucky Department of Forestry, part of the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the Kentucky Forest Industries Association will host the Kentucky Wood Expo at Masterson Station Park.
The expo will run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Activities and demonstrations include chainsaw sculpting, live lumberjack competitions, heavy equipment demonstrations, craft and food booths and more.
Adult admission is $7 at the gate ($5 in advance), and $5 for children 6 to 12 years old. Children younger than 6 are admitted free.
