Here’s a first look at stories we’re working on for tomorrow:
Ever wondered what ‘They Say In Harlan County‘? Roman American Lit. Professor Alessandro Portelli shares his oral history of the small Kentucky county. His research combines 150 interviews of Harlan County residents over 30+ years. The Prichard Lecture is tomorrow at 3pm in the Young auditorium.
UK’s Office of Institutional Diversity hosts their first of three discussions today to “Wage War on Student Attrition.” Columbia University’s Provost will discuss the threats of stereotypes.
For some, the Blue and White Scrimmage will be their third look at this year’s new basketball lineup. Tickets are $10 and, as of right now, are still available through Ticketmaster. The scrimmage begins tomorrow at 7 at Rupp Arena.
The VIP Center will show “Amy’s Story,” a documentary looking at the issue of stalking. Doors open at 8:30, viewing begins at 9.
You can also expect us here at BlueCoast Live to react to tonight’s KET Conway/Paul Senate debate.
