The University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences’ annual Passport to the World initiative begins Thursday at the Year of the Middle East kickoff.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to the join the celebration from noon to 2 p.m. on the Student Center Lawn.
Vanessa Paloma will be performing “Shepharad at the tip of Africa,” a musical performance that features Judeo-Spanish Romances, Judeo-Arabic piyyutim and Hebrew prayers.
