Single game tickets for the first four games on Kentucky’s schedule go on sale today at 5 P.M. The first four games include two exhibition games against Ottawa (KS) and Kentucky State and the first two games of the regular season against Albany and NJIT.
Ottawa (KS) will be making their first trip to Rupp Arena. Aaron Siebenthall who is in his 9th season at the program led the Braves to a 16-12 record during the 2014-15 season.
Kentucky State will be led by first time head coach Darnell Williams who joined the staff in 2012 as an assistant coach before being named the head coach prior to this season. The Thorobreds finished last season with a 9-18 record.
Albany who is coached by Will Brown in his 14th year finished last year with a 24-9 record and won the American East Conference both regular season and conference tournament finals. The Great Danes lost to Oklahoma 60-69 in the second round of the NCAA tourney.
NJIT is led by Jim Engles who is in his 7th year at the helms and led the Highlanders to a 21-12 record. The Highlanders lost in the semi-finals to Northern Arizona 61-68 in the College Invitation Tournament.
