With Halloween quickly approaching people are getting their costumes and candy ready for this weekend. Lexington Halloween festivities will begin with the Thriller Showcase on Saturday at 7 p.m. This will feature dances by Mecca, Kiddie Kapers, SCAPA middle school, Space Madness on the Planet of the Apes by the March Madness Marching Band and Michael Jackson tribute pieces by the Danceformers. The Thriller parade will start at 8:30 pm outside of the Kentucky Theatre and will travel down Main Street to the Cheapside Pavilion.
The Halloween activities will continue on into Sunday with Trick-or-Treating. The hours set up to trick-or-treat in Lexington are from 6 to 8 on Sunday night.
