Tonight from 7:30-9:30 at the Singletary Center the Bayanihan Philippine National Dance Company is showcasing various Philippine art forms in music, dance, costumes, and folklore. The company made their debut 50 years ago in New York where they first started translating folkdance onto the modern stage. By using history and national identity as a guide, the group creates dances through choreographer and costume specialists to portray what it means to be Filipino. Tickets can be purchases at www.singletarycenter.com
