My Morning Jacket is the 2011 Spring Concert, according to UK’s Student Activities Board. The concert will be held Sunday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum. UK Student tickets are $25 for floor and lower level and $20 for upper level stands for students with a valid UK ID For the general public, prices are $50 for floor and lower level and $45 for upper level.
Students can purchase tickets beginning Mar. 7 at the Student Center Ticket Office from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Students can bring up to four additional IDs to purchase tickets. Beginning Mar. 10, students can purchase up to four guest tickets at general public prices if the student has not previously purchased a ticket. Ticketmaster will make tickets available beginning Mar. 12.
My Morning Jacket is an American acoustic, Indie and rock band formed in 1998 in Louisville, Ky by the singer/songwriter Jim James, according to the band’s MySpace music page. The band’s studio releases include Evil Urges, Z, It Still Moves, At Dawn and The Tennessee Fire. The band members are Jim James, “Two Tone” Thomas Blankenship, Carl Broemel and Bo Koster.
