Waseem Touma, a graduate of UK’s MFA program, will have an exhibition of his work in the Rasdall Gallery in the UK Student Center beginning Monday, March 21, according to a Facebook event from the UK Student Activities Board. The Opening Reception for the exhibition, “Internal Connections,” will be from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m on March 21. The exhibit will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily until April 14.
Touma came to UK in 2003 as an MFA candidate, according to his website. He exhibited at the Downtown Arts Center: Windows Project in 2004 and 2005 and placed first in the UK College of Art Open Studio Carey Ellis Juried Exhibition in 2003 and 2005. He was also a Teaching Assistant for two years.
