Tolly Ho, the popular campus-area restaurant, announced yesterday that it plans to move to its new South Broadway location in April.
Last Fall, the Kentucky Kernel reported that it had plans to change locations. The current address is 395 S. Limestone and the new location will be at 1700 Harrodsburg Road, the vacant Hart’s Drycleaning building.
Tolly Ho owner Roy Milling said in a March 24 Kernel article that the reason for the move is for expansion reasons, not because of competition.
The new space will allow for more customers to visit, and Tolly Ho plans to expand its menu selections to include bakery items and a Texas Hold Em room, the Kernel article said.
The current Tolly Ho location will be converted into a convenience store, according to Sandy Rose, a Tolly Ho employee.
