The first event will be held today at the Center Theater at the UK Student Center 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and is sponsored by University Press of Kentucky.
Another information session will be on Thursday, March 31, at 5 p.m. in room 202 of the James W. Stuckert Career Center.
Fun Facts about the Peace Corps:
–celebrated its 50th anniversary in March
–approximately 250 UK alumni have volunteered
–work assignments available to students in more than 70 countries
–UK Office of International Affairs Community Liaison Kathy Roberts is the contact for the Kentucky Returned Peace Corps Volunteers organization in the Lexington area and has headed the Kentucky-Ecuador Partners division of Partners of the Americas for more than 25 years
