The African Student Association (ASA) is offering an African dance class today. The dance class will kick off ASA’s Africa Week by allowing students the opportunity to learn 3 types of African dance. ASA is comprised of mostly African students seeking to promote unity and diversity on campus while sharing our unique culture with students and faculty. AIDS Volunteers of Lexington ribbons and bracelets will be sold throughout the event, with proceeds going to Kilimanjaro Women’s Development Association.
The dance class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the UK Martin Luther King Cultural Center. For more info, call 336-712-0827.
