UK is giving an opportunity for its community to share memories of the tenure of President Lee Todd,according to a press release from UKnow.
A celebration of Todd’s time as the 11th president of the university will be held Tues., April 12 at 2:30 p.m. at Patterson Office Tower. Similar to the State of the University Address, the event will commemorate the years Todd served as president with an ice cream social and speakers, including a message from Todd.
Wildcat Student Television will be live streaming the event. In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will be moved to the Singletary Center for the Arts.
Also, students and faculty can visit this website to share thoughts and well-wishes for the retiring president, which will be compiled into a book to be presented to the first family.
