As polls across Kentucky close at 6 p.m., allowing for any voters in line by 6 p.m. to cast their votes, the bars across the state can open.
Kentucky prohibits alcohol sales while polls are open. Residents in the Commonwealth today cast their votes for Governor/Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Treasurer and Commissioner of Agriculture, on an off-year election that was expected to garner little turnout.
As results roll in, Bluecoast will report winners and losers in races and any other items of interest from across Lexington.
