The Kentucky Supreme Court will discuss the redrawing of district lines tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
The newly drawn legislative districts were declared unconstitutional by Franklin Circuit Judge Phillip Shepherd. Shepherd tossed out the new boundary lines because he said they divided more counties than necessary and were not true to population size. Gov. Steve Beshear approved these lines and signed them into law last month.
The following counties could be affected:
- Rockcastle
- Lincoln
- Pulaski
- Russell
- Laurel
- Owsley
- Jackson
- Clinton
