4 studentes were shot at Chardon High School on Monday in Chardon, Ohio. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s office has declared one student, Russell King Jr., as brain dead. The student was only 17 years old.
Three other students were wounded, with one in critical condition at the MetroHealth Medical Center. The other two students are being treated at Hillcrest Hospital; one is in serious condition and the other student is currently in stable condition.
Today, Chardon High School canceled all classes. Students, parents and teachers are trying to understand the violence.
The suspect is a teen who attended a nearby school.
