UK Gymnastics looks to start season strong

The UK Gymnastics team is about to begin their season, facing an opponent they know very well: teammates.
The team will have its annual Blue/White Meet on Thursday Dec. 6, from 6-8 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum.
Those looking to see the team in action can reserve their tickets, costing only $5, by calling 1-800-928-2287. Tickets will also be sold at the Joe Craft Ticket Office on the night of the event. Seniors and youth cost $2.
Fans wanting to get season tickets for the teams 5 home meets plus their Blue/White meet can through the Joe Craft Ticket Office for $15.
This season UK will begin their season at California before traveling down to Auburn.
The teams UK will host this season in Memorial Coliseum are Arkansas, LSU, Georgia, Missouri and Bowling Green.
Last season UK ended with a 10-19 record, with an SEC record of 1-5, ranking them seventh in the conference.
The team finished fifth in the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional with a score of 195.175, resulting in finishing the season ranked No. 25.
Four teams members were named to the Scholastic All-America Awards: senior Storey Morris, juniors Caitlyn Ciokajlo and Catlin Satkowiak and sophomore Audrey Harrison.
