Taylor County 60, West Jessamine 58: Taylor County led by as many as 17 points just before the half and the Colts came storming back in the second half. But their late-game heroics fell short in the final game on Wednesday night. The Cardinals had three double-digit scorers in the victory led by Kennedy Deener (19 points), Greta Bradstreet (18) and Kayley Benningfield’s 13 points. Katie Mastin paced the Colts with 20 points. Claire Marshall added nine points and 19 boards for West Jessamine, which outbounded Taylor County 35-19.
